We catch up with our heroes after some organization at the Malkier Gate in Fal Dara,
as Fireyj, Valon and Blade Servant, scouts for trollocs... The Dusty Road is quiet,
though they know there are some nasty Shadowspawn out and around, sneaking and hiding
in the trees. Noctem, Valon and Blade Servant, also scouts in another direction to
attempt to pincer the trollocs between groups on unfriendly fire.

The Dusty Road
The ancient trees around the road don't seem to acknowledge the wind blowing
around them, their branches and leaves barely moving. Here, the road runs east
and west, but, to the west, you can see that the road bends north. A gray
tower is visible over the trees to the northwest, and besides that, you can
only see the impenetrable forest all around the road.

You would have no problem hiding people in this forest, you realize as you
walk around. There is no way anyone can see you from the road, through the
impenetrable trees to the north, but you can spy on the road from the entrance
to this area. To the west and south, you can see more open forest, where you
can walk freely. You decide that this place would be a great place to hide an
ambushing party... You can see a lot of disturbed dirt on the ground.

Medium Forested Hills
With so many trees, a lot of animal life can be found here. In several places
signs of animal activity can be seen as tiny tracks on the ground. The animal
noises combined form a chorus that can never be heard in any city. A little
clearing in the hilly woods can be seen south of here. The hills slope
downward to the north. To the east, the trees thin out a little.

Forested Hills
The plant life here is incredibly varied. From bamboo to acorn trees, plants
jut out from the slope of the hills in very interesting directions. A cicada
in a nearby tree protests loudly at the disturbance that you caused as you
stepped on a dry stick. The forest looks denser to the south, almost masking
the brown hills underneath. A small meandering stream heads southward to the
east. The forest extends in endless monotony to the north and west.

Thick Forest
Here the trees have become much more closely packed, making movement among
them very difficult. It doesn't look like you can move any farther south or
east, only back to the north and west, where the forest begins to thin out
again.
